Honeywell introduces Fusion ANPR software integrated with Fusion
Digital Video Recorders. The Fusion DVR can now be used for monitoring license
number plates of passing vehicles and logging these license number plates in a central
database.
Fusion ANPR is an advanced vehicle tracking and image database
management system that has wide application for both commercial and government
users that are concerned about the security of car parks, high security sites
and other high volume traffic areas.
The Fusion ANPR software is fully interactive and provides audible
and visual alerts with 'action messages' for security staff. Fusion ANPR is
ideal for Car Park Access Control and can automatically open barriers or control
LED displays for known vehicles. The ANPR system is highly robust and works
equally well with many types of traffic.
Fusion ANPR consists of two parts. The first
is Fusion ANPR Live which is the heart of the ANPR system. Fusion ANPR Live
intelligently monitors traffic via ANPR cameras and logs all passing vehicles.
The ANPR Live in-built proprietary database looks up registration numbers as the
vehicle approaches and displays the available information - e.g. Driver Name,
Image of Driver, Vehicle Make / Model. The Fusion ANPR software then displays
specific action messages for the user. An existing database of users or employees may be generated in software programs such as
Microsoft® Excel or Access and imported into the Fusion ANPR program. Fusion ANPR intelligently
monitors traffic via ANPR cameras and logs all passing vehicles. The ANPR in-built

overview images of the car and driver from standard CCTV cameras as the plate is
captured, adding an extra layer of security to the system. The second part
of the ANPR program is Fusion ANPR Review, which allows fast, easy searching based
on full / partial plates, time and date. The system can record

Fusion ANPR software is also able to be networked across multiple locations
allowing surveillance personnel to monitor the movement of vehicles of interest between different sites. In

plates, time and date ranges etc. and will display log entries with any
associated captured images.
